Rust

What is a Vanilla+ Rust server?

Vanilla+ means original Rust gameplay with no gameplay-altering mods — just small server-side quality-of-life settings such as lower upkeep, decay 50 % and quick connect. The feel stays vanilla, only a little more accessible.

Is Nerux a solo, duo or trio server?

Nerux is strictly solo/duo: a maximum of 2 players per team. No teaming and no alliances between groups — fair conditions made for solo and duo players.

How do I connect to the Nerux server?

Start Rust, press F1 in the main menu and enter the connect command 'client.connect IP:port'. The exact command is on every server page behind the copy button. Alternatively, search the Rust server browser for 'Nerux'.

When is the next wipe?

Nerux runs two Vanilla+ servers: Weekly (wiped every week) and Monthly (monthly force wipe). The exact next wipe time is shown live with a countdown on the home page and on each server page.

Are there blueprint wipes?

No. Nerux has no blueprint wipes (no BP wipes) — only map and server wipes. Blueprints you have learned stay with you permanently.

What map size do the servers use?

Every Nerux server uses map size 3500 — big enough for variety, compact enough for active solo/duo play with regular encounters.

Can I have a say in the next map?

Yes. In the map vote you use your Steam account to vote on which map is played next — one vote per account, valid until the wipe. Each server has its own vote.

Is the server DDoS-protected, and where is it?

Yes. The servers sit in a German data centre (Hetzner) and are DDoS-protected — for low pings across central Europe and stable, uninterrupted wipes.

Which rules apply on Nerux?

In short: a maximum of 2 players per team, no cheating, no alliances and respect in chat. The full rule book is on the rules page.

Does Nerux use Oxide or mods?

A few convenience and admin tools run server-side, but they change nothing about gameplay: no kits, no shops, no gather or loot boosts, no pay-to-win. The Rust mechanics stay as they are.

How can I support Nerux?

Join the Discord, play, and tell others about the servers. Optionally you can support the project financially through 'Support / Buy Me a Coffee'. There are no pay-to-win perks.
